Our IAM Local 754 Summer BBQ is coming up on Saturday, July 18th, and we need your help getting the word out and making sure we have an accurate headcount.

Please take a sign-up sheet around your work locations and speak with as many members as possible. The BBQ is open to Local 754 members and their significant others, and we want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to attend.

To help us plan food and supplies, we will be collecting a $20 deposit per member at sign-up. This deposit will be fully refunded to the member when they check in at the BBQ. The purpose is simply to ensure we have an accurate attendance count and minimize last-minute cancellations.

Please encourage members to sign up as soon as possible and return completed sign-up sheets and deposits by Friday, June 26.

Let’s “strike” while the BBQ is hot and continue building on the morale and solidarity that helped us secure our recent contract victory over the LIRR.
